Display cases in Hearthfire houses bugged?

I cannot seem to use the Display cases for my weapons in the Falkreath plot..
Any possible fix?

the table top opening display both dagger and sword has been bugged sense the original skyrim, there's a mod to correct it, but I haven't installed it because most of the discuusion comments say it didn't work and the mod was ported with permission by a new person

Yeah, things seem to work their way out of those cases.

Drop the item then hold the 'use' button to place it in the display case. There is no other way of doing it (unless you install a mod)

I haven't even bothered checking yet, but do we have the official "Unofficial Patch" Legendary equivalent for SE yet?

which doesn't solve the issue .... but yes the unofficial patch was one of the first mods to appear.

Thanks, and shame it doesn't fix the issue. I do seem to remember hearing that it was one of the first mods out, now that you mention it. I haven't really bothered modding SE yet, just keeping it vanilla for the time being and modding the older version, being more carefree with it than I would have.

if you put an item somewhere, save looking at this item and load this save, the item will not move or fly around anymore

There is a mod in Normal Edition that lets you fix that, since Special Edition's description litterally states with mods that anything is possible, but they don't even support the mods... Just use Normal Edition, there's already a graphics mod way BETTER than Special Edition's.. it was a scam.
