SSE NIF Optimizer is easy to use
I just cleaned up my favourite armor set from the original skyrim with it and the mod worked perfectly after running all it's nif files throw SSE NIF Optimizer exe

way easier then even using SSEEdit too

I'm a novice when it comes to using tools like these and if you want your favourite armors to work with Skyrim SE I highly recommend using SSE NIF Optimizer because not all mod authors well return to skyrim and port there mods for the Special Edition of the game

Wow, hope you aren't dead, but...

So I just download SSE NIF Optimizer then...

1.Download whatever armor set I want

2.Unextract the armor to a new folder

3.Run Nif Optimizer on that folder to clean it?

No need for Creation Kit or anything? Asking since I'm trying to convert some ♥♥♥♥ as well

I don't know how to use creation kit, as for as I know you only need to run the esp files threw creation kit for weapon and mods that change body's and looks, something about saving after you run the esp through creation kit, there should be youtube tutorial's on how to!..

here 's what I ran run through SSE NIF Optimizer

Berserk Judeau Armor
Einherjar Armor by Omesean
Nordic Hunter light armor - frankdema
Plate Armours - Credo StandAloneMod
Vagabond Armor by hothtrooper44
Vanguard Armor by hothtrooper44
Warchief Armo by hothtrooper44

the vanguard helmet still has it's up down animation when you drew your weapon

I don't like all the armors in hothtrooper44 Immersive Armors mod, so I only use the ones that where in single upload for oldrim ran through SSE NIF Optimizer
