Speedmult = 1039, can't fix movement.
Greetings everyone

I'd like to adress an infuriating bug that I have with Skyrim & Skyrim Special Edition.
The bug being that my speed multiplier is stuck on 1039 and getting the multiplier to 100/regular is an action in vain.
I've tried using [player.setav], [player.modav] and [player.forceav] but nothing worked,
The bug persists after I restart the game multiple times and even after re-installing it.
Does anyone know of a way to solve this bug, or am I gonna be stuck with breaking my game and falling outside of the map/into the nothing or will I never be able to play Skyrim again?

With kind regards,

G.M.B.

tried loading an earlier save?

Its a bug, just save the game and relog and it will return back to normal

In normal skyrim you would have to play.forceav but that doesnt work for me either.

you gotta choose a negative number to lower your speed manually

try player.forceav speedmult 100

if that don't work try player.setav speedmult 100 that me be the default run speed

that's for modav

modav MODifies A Value by a set amount, so typing player.modav 400 would add 400 speed to your character.

I know....his multiplier was bugged, and by using a negative number to alter the base stat will fix it

"player.forceav speedmult 100" doesn't need a negative number, learn how to console.

well SOMETHING must have happened?

nothing happened whether I modav, setav or forceav, if using negative numbers doesnt work than just reload, for me just saving and quitting worked to fix it
