arkngthamz tonals not working

tonals dont react to anything I do, I waited a month to see if they would fix it in patches, nope they still dont work does anyone have this problem?

Nope, they work fine for me. I hit the ones on the way in with whatever weapon I'm holding and the ones at the tonal lock with a Bow. You sure you're hitting them?

Edit: Well, if you want to be picky, I hit the tonal lock ones with an Arrow :D

yeah im still stuck at the first door where she explains to hit it and it will react, nothing happens

I just used tcl to get passed it because it just pissed me off and now I need to find the console command to complete the tonal part of the quest

Hmm.. Imho there are too many objectives set during that quest to safely progress by using the console.

as long as the format is: SetObjectCompleted " Quest Name " " Quest Stage " " # Objective " no harm in trying it at your own risk :-)

Alright, to see the stages of it, type in getstage DLC1LD, it should show you what stage of that quest you are on then you'd simply put setstage DLC1LD <stage value you are on>

So it should look like for example, if its 10, setstage DLC1LD 10

Btw DLC1LD is the quest you are on. The Lost to the Ages quest right?

Nah, all he needs to do is do the commands I showed him and it'll ONLY push him through the stage he is currently on in that quest. If all else fails all he needs to do is click on the door while the console is open then type 'disable' >:D

I just did that quest earlier today and didn't have a problem with the door tonals you have to hit them with a Bow and Arrows

sorry for replying so late, but yes i LITERALLY tried everything even got a mod for a follower to attack what i wanted them to attack still didnt work. but yes thank you jackal that fixed it for me

didnt fix the tonals just got me past that stupid part of the quest

I did that quest yesterday and it worked without any problems.

Obviously, Bethesda is slow as heck with such bugfixes, so I gotta ask... Are you running the unofficial patch? Because if this is a bug and you don't have that patch, it would most likely fix it.

Bethesda is not bugfixing this game. Ever. Why would anyone think otherwise.
