I'm not really familiar with True Storms but I doubt it. Both mods would be making changes to the same weather systems in the game.

Hm i dont have the compatibility patch but they seem to work together! I still get heavy rain from "True Storms" and for example the new sun effect from "Climates of Tamriel" lol
You are better off choosing one or the other. Trying to run both is like ordering two desserts for yourself. There's no point.

Climates of Tamriel and True storms are environment mods which alter the weather system and have sky details, particle details, and sound files all to do with the weather and atmospheric environments.

They are the same kind of mod that both have many features respectfully. There's no point trying to run both because they compete over too many similar files. Trying to patch them would be just like making a third one. LOL

I prefer Vivid Weathers over either of them. CoT and TS don't give enough IMO.

Yes, they work together with no issues (at least on my PC). True Storms is really well done, a considerable improvement over other weather mods.

Ok thanks, then i probably stay with True Storms for now!

search tscot on nexus, it's a patch for both to work together.
Making them 'work together' isn't going to get you all the aspects from both mods.

A patch will allow one to have files overwiting the others' files here and there. You are going to miss out on one mods' experiences due to a patch allowing the other mod to overwrite them.

Since these two mods do the same thing, it's absolutely pointless merging them together, because you're going to get bits of both mods, rather than all of one. You might not get some things you like about one of the mods.

I'd say that CoT is good on visuals and T-storms is the best for sounds. Since True Storms has visuals also, I naturally prefer that, because of its amazing lightning effects. (True Storms in Fallout 4 is awesome, but some of my friends prefer other weather mods).

Bear in mind, True Storms is top 5th mod.

The other weather mods I have seen, and used, are mainly static visuals, with minor dynamic effects going on - True Storms is very dynamic both visually and audio.

I mean, I'm not really being biassed - I'm trying to get an ENB to work, which requires Vivid Weathers, so I am not using True Storms. (sadly).

TL,DR: Hey, it's your game at the end of the day, if you want them to run together, go for it.

The patch may allow files to be overwritten but you underestimate what gets overwritten. You actually get CoT's visuals with TS sounds together. It's actually worth it if your someone who likes both.

I like the colors in vivid weathers but some of the fogs look really bad and are laggy so I use CoT and TS.

There is a compatability mod for Vivid and TS as well though if anyone is interested.

I might try vivid weathers again when the vividian ENB is released for SSE

Yes, Vivid Weathers fog looks MUCH better with the Vividian ENB. Still shows flaws though, just not as bad. I use them both on the Legendary Edition.
