Dimhollow Crypt Question

Made a start on Dawnguard for the first time and whilst exploring Dimhollow Crypt I came across those gates you can open near the beginning that either leads to a Draugr, a chest, or a pedestal. Each of those small corridors have bars all around and through them you can see items like potions and weapons in the alcoves. Is there any way of getting these items? Or do I have to wait until I obtain telekinesis?

Why don't you google the name of the location and read the description in the numerous WIKIS?

You answered your own question. Yes, Telekinesis is your friend when it comes to collecting otherwise inaccesible junk :D

There are multiple ways to do this. You just have to use some though and experiment.
Telekenisis allows you to grab and pull the objects.
The first shout you get will most of the time throw the object around enough you can reach through the bars.
Using a bow or crossbow shoot the items until they bounce around, then reach through the bars.

Don't you find that method a bit too random, though, Eggy? To me that's like using explosives in Fallout ## and simply hoping for the best - which, more often than not, turns out for the worst :P

I already did this and my own strategy guide, but nothing is mentioned about those items.

Okay, thanks guys. Guess I'll have to wait until I get telekinesis and go back for them. Just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed a switch or something to remove the bars.

No. It's near the beginning of the area. There are three or four gates that have a chain. One leads in the direction you need to go, the others lead to a chest, a Draugr, and a pedestal.

Yeah but some places you go in a cirkel and come back out 'near' the entrance. And there's always nice goodies near the exit.
