Child's Gift
So usually one of my adopted kids run to meet me at the door inside or outside of the Breezehome and asked if I bring them a gift or asked for an allowance. Been the push over daddy I always have something to hand out. Unfortunately in Skyrim SE, I can't give a flute to the kids SE has drop the ability to do so, so I am missing out on hearing them play. I can't offer them a lute either. They can still chop on the dummy with their knife but not as vigirous as they did in the Vanilla game .... sigh!

What are all the gifts you can give your kids?

Apples, sweetrolls, wooden swords, dolls, daggers, child's clothes.

I think that's it?

You can also give them a children's book, such as the Yellow Book of Riddles, The Red Book of Riddles, A Children's Anuad, and Kolb and the Dragon

Yellow Book of Riddles, Red Book of Riddles, Kolb the Dragon and one other book which I've forgotten ( but I'll know to pick it up when I see it ).

Edit: Just noticed I was Ninja'd - AND reminded of " A Children's Anuad " Damned Ninja's :D

My adopt daughter in Whiterun keep asking me to give her my Glass dagger...

I noticed that one of my adopted daughter tends to randomly walk barefooted outside, especially when going from the Breezehome to the Tree. One minute her shoes is on and the next she is wearing none. Never noticed this in the Vanilla. Would have been nice if it was possible to purchase shoes as gifts. There should always be shoes to go with dresses

Hmm.. did you perchance adopt the little girl from Windhelm? ( forgot her name ) If so, she'll be loaded to the hilt with Flower Baskets. Solution: ~ , inv , return. Then remove # baskets but make sure to leave her with one of them. Removeitem ######## #

Should be safe, additem and removeitem only affect inventory, so no knock effect.

Yeah, if you're not au fait with fixing up your own game via console commands ( or your own game patch made using the CK ) then I suggest you use the Unofficial Patch. But, of course, it's too late for that now. As Alex stated above you're only affecting inventory. Adding and removing items to or from your personal inventory via the console is as safe as buying and selling items during normal gameplay - nothing bad happens 99.999* % of the time. :D
More of "I'm typing the words that sould so SOMETHING but nothing happen/command is wrong.:steamfacepalm:

Click on the child with the ( ~ ) console open. Up to an 8 digit alphanumeric appears on screen.

Type.. inv and then hit return

Look for the item ref for the basket which used to be " 000d955a "

If she has 400 of the damned things, for example,

Type... removeitem.000d955a 399 ( so she still has one ) and hit return

Job done.

Edit: lol .. I just remembered her name... Sophie isn't it?

Yes, and thanks. Althought I had to use "removeallItems" as it was been funny with me...
pedantic_roc Jan 2, 2017 @ 10:51am
eek, removeallitems is not a good idea... not so bad with a child because they can never be nude... so did you at least add back a basket and a dagger or something? ( chuckling here )
