Does it, however, crash inn-stantly? <.<
Could be some Bard mod, could be a texture mod, could be Innything!
in most of them it crashes instantly, in the solitude one, it takes like a second, then crashes
i havent got any bard mods, textures.... maybe smaller ones, no complete texture replacements
Solution: Download this little useful tool http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13529/?
It is a texture optimizer for classic Skyrim, but it works for this kind of issue (textures not saved in the right format) in SSE as well.
It searches automatically in your Skyrim Special Edition/Data/textures folder for textures which are not saved in the DXT1 or DXT5 format and will save said textures as DXT1 or DXT5.
How to use this tool:
Open it and under "Threads", at the bottom of the tool, set how many cores your Processor has. Point the directory to your Skyrim Special Edition/Data/Textures folder and then click "Optimize!" Wait until it's finished.
All textures which were not saved in DXT1 or DXT5 are now saved in this format and it also made a backup of the original textures.
But to be on the save side, just make a backup of your textures folder BEFORE you use this tool.
I hope it helps people and sorry for my English. It is not my native language.
If you tried to port any follower mods over, uncheck the esp to determine if it's one of those. Also if your using any inn related material test those to.
Loot or Mod Organizer, whatever you prefer..

If you have them deactivate and try loading a save prior the save with the issue and see if it happens.
My issue with these mods was entering Riverwood trader and inn in Morthal.
Also the beheading in Solitude never happen the bloke never gets his head chopped until I removed them.

Why don't you do what proactive people like me do and disable your mods a few at a time until you find which one it is.
