Magic killcam annoyance

So I started playing Skyrima gain because of the SE hype, and i cant find the most important mod of all times, the magic killcam disabler, as many of you i like to play on legendary, and playing as a spellcaster is almost impossible to do with killcams since you never end up killing the target when it triggers and you have to wait for that killcam to end to reposition yourself out of harm.


Anyone knows how to disable killcams ? maybe im stupid and they added an option and im not seeing it, but anyways, need help :D

Add

[VATS]
bVATSdisable=1

to your skyrim.ini or skyrimprefs.ini, can't remember which... so i put it in both....

inis are located in %HOMEPATH%\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition

[Hate Crime]

Love kill cams for projectile spells, but yeah they are annoying when it's a channeled spell. There's also a mod that allows you to tweak individual settings for killcam. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/668/? Can also be found in-game with bethesda mods section.

why use a mod, if an ini setting is sufficient? :) mods just mess up achivements... but if you are using mods anyways, i suppose it does not matter..

Thank you :D i downloaded Violens mod, it seems to be working not sure tho, cos it said "ranged killcams" and as far as i remember ranged and magic killcams are separate things, but still no magi kill cam in a few encoutners, if this doesnt work i ll change the inis, i really apreciate the help

True, but some people like the melee killcam too much to disable. I prefer 1st person killcams only, which is why I use the mod. I think these things can also be set in the config as well, though I'd rather have the dynamic changes without having to leave the game.
