The focusing lens aren't focus on where they suppose to. Quest stucked. Need help.

Isn't that the place where you must use Fire or Ice magic on the lens to shape it?

it's frost and usually a spell book is near by on a table if you don't have the spell yet, and usually it only takes three shots at the crystal to focus it properly, alway save before doing so in case you did it to long

I know what to do pal. I've finished the original one before. But this time the beam aren't in their right places.

Use the console to terminate the part of that quest ? i know you can.

Ok I just finished this quest with the Oculory and had to focus the crystal 4 times before I aligned them on the three rings


Make sure you have retrieved the blue focus crystal from the falmer that took it

you have to make sure the light beams are on one of each brass ring like pictured below

and then go to where the buttons are at the top and push them untell each light is on a crystal in each ring

Use Flames and the equivalent Frost spell, one in each hand, hit the thingamabob with the crystal until the light beams come to a position that the lens on the rings can reach.

It is actually simple as soon as you understand how to do it. It can be frustrating before that, though.
