Any method to cap fps to 30?

Skyrim SE is butter smooth in all the cities for me. but it feels terribly and unstable (feels even worse than the original game) in the wilderness and sometimes in dungeons. It's the exact oposite of what the original skyrim ran on my system

Tried using ENBoost's fps limiter but it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up all the DOF effects and weapon models looked like they were made in a early playstation game

of course that last bit happened on my pc. Not yours

It works best if you have Windows 8 or 10, as it was written to utilize their features along with windowed borderless.

One thing you could try is turning off Ambient Occlusion in Nvidia Control Panel (or whatever is used for AMD if you have AMD).

If you have nvidia, disable ipresentinterval in the ini, go to nvidia control panel settings for skyrim SE and set vsync to adaptive half refresh rate (assuming you have a 60hz monitor.

For radeon set frtc to 30
