Help with relationship dialogue overload
I decided to ask here because the nexus mod site keeps telling me they aren’t accepting new accounts right now (probably something I’m doing wrong) but I need help. I’m sorry if it’s obvious, and I’m new to modding so I’d prefer if you didn’t use acronyms haha

Anyways, I was wondering if the relationship dialogue overload mod would work with another mod that lets you marry a different character that you can’t marry in the original game?

I’m using the special edition on PC. Again, sorry if this is a dumb question.

for help with specific mods you are probably better off trying to get help where you got the mod?

sauceypanda, yes, it should. Just make sure you follow all installation and load order instructions for RDO (though, in the issue of conflicts, It is more important that an individual mod that changes dialogue win, than RDO, so it may be necessary to put that mod after RDO in the load order - RDO will not break; just some changes that it makes will not appear, while another mod may break if its edits are overwritten).
RDO works fine in my game, and considering the number of mods I have (some which do what you were asking about), it should certainly work in yours.

The simple answer; Yes, it will.

More detailed: I personally have used so many different Immersion mods in my hundreds of load orders and I do not believe a single one of them has been under 150 mods of which have included (but not limited to) Immersive Citizens, Relationship Dialogue Overhaul, Guard Dialogue Overhauls, H.A.S.T.E, Amazing Follower Tweaks, (probably leaving out 1), while at the same time including Marriage mods.

So although I donot get married much more often than I do get get married I have used Marry me Serana and Marry me Carlotta etc., they all worked fine when I went through with marriage and even when I did not they all worked as intended (with all dialogue options) even when I did not.

So let me clarify, All of the above are pretty much in my load orders 100% of the time. I love Immersion and I love trying to break my game.

Like smr said, RDO is usually below all of the above mentioned mods in my load order. There have also been a couple of times I had to leave RDO out completely but like I said I use others so the first time I actually left RDO out completely I was pleasantly surprised that I did not really notice it was gone.

Read each mod description, requirements, bugs, conflicts etc, as should always be the case.

Enjoy

Thank you! Do you know if it'll still work if you use console commands to make an npc available for marriage? I can't find a mod for the person I want to marry

Only a dumb question if you don't ask it.
Always better to get confirmation than to not ask.

Not going to say there are no dumb questions, because I can think of a dozen daft questions off the top of my head.... just this isn't one of them.

You can set non-marriageable NPC as marriageable, however, depending upon the NPC, they may not have any dialogue or AI packages for it - unless you make your own mod for them that supplies it (by using existing vanilla dialogue options and triggers and AI packages), or can find one already made on Nexus. So, even if they were set as marriageable, without dialogue or AI package, it would be worthless.

What smr says about AI package is true.
You can also try setting their disposition towards you higher, it's accomplished by a numbering system through console commands. it's an easy find through a google search.

But who do you want to marry if I may ask?

Edit: LOL love how OP titles it "Relationship Dialogue Overload" LOL

I'm trying to marry Cicero. I know people either love him or hate him, but I personally think he's hilarious and would be extremely entertaining to have as a spouse.

Here's one to try:

I have no idea how well it works!
