nemesis mod
How does this differ to fnis? I recently decided to make a freshly modded skyrim to try out combat overhaul. My old sse was on nmm so i also converted to mo2. I added all my mods over the past week and tried it last night it ran fine except i forgot to run nemesis. I ran the nemesis patch tonight and my game kept ctd on opening ever since. I know it cant be other mods as it ran before running nemesis. Was there something i did wrong with nemesis? I ran and checked warnings and didnt see any issue.

Perhaps some of those other mods are not compatible with Nemesis? Nemesis as of now has limited utility, as so many mods have FNIS as requirements. This is just speculation on my part at this point, but it is worth checking.

Yeah despite some sources saying its compatible with some fnis mods. What i will do is uninstall nemesis and combat overhaul and try fnis and see if it still crashes. It could also be that im not well informed on mo2 as it kept saving install info on my windows ssd despite giving it directions to my alternate ssd. I ended up making a portable mo2 but the mods only load if i run skse through mo2.If i run skse normally the game runs just without mods. Not as simple as i would have hoped the transition to be but ill look into it more tomorrow.

Major issues right now are that Nemesis currently doesn't work with poser mods, creature animations, and FNIS Sexymove. It has its own PCEA.

Nemesis generates a dummy FNIS esp for mods that have the esp as a hard requirement. Make sure this was generated properly if you're using XPMSE.

I've gotten Nemesis to work fine but I haven't tried CGO. Only Animated Armory.
Though I have heard of one issue where having too many animations caused actors to glide rather than move, like a T-pose without a T.

Some people also suggest running FNIS and then Nemesis for creature animations, but I can't really recommend that.

Thank you! Im watching this on the side as i clean up my mod order. An update for everyone i ended up installing FNIS and it sorted out the CTD. Game runs like a charm. I'll wait it out for combat overhaul and try other mods for spicing up the combat. Thank you for asking im doing well health wise I've managed to stay in a week before the country went into quarantine. There was reports that a person ill with the virus was on the metro line i use to go to university so i said to myself it was best to stay home that week and it paid off. Stay safe luckily we have games for a time like this to keep us occupied. We will get through this by staying positive!

Nemesis doesn't work with pose mods or creature animations.


But I just switched entirely over to Nemesis a couple of weeks ago and I haven't looked back.

Your basically trading pose mods and creature animations for true 360 movement, a superior player exclusive animations mod, Animated Armory which adds unique animations for spears, daggers, ect.

and the main reason to switch over....


Combat Gameplay Overhaul which adds the ability attack in mid air, change weapon grips, adds leaning when moving, a lag free non-scripted dodge and the abilitiy to use spells with any weapon config equipped.

Nemesis seems to be the key to what has held back animation related mods for Skyrim.

Gave Nemesis a try, it doesn't seem to allow custom anim files (which is almost everything in my game after years of modding) and keeps throwing fits of warnings at anything thats not cookie cutter mainstream mod. After flushing down half my animation mods I got past the launhc CTDs only to arrive in-game with the T-pose syndrom.

No thanks, call me back when your ♥♥♥♥ actually works. Nemesis still has a long ways to go before it replaces FNIS. As for CGO, you can reproduce 90% of what the mod does with already available mods.

I run a heavy load order over 400, super stable, not starting from scratch for a system that can't handle half of what FNIS does.

The whole point of of nemesis is to allow custom animations and behaviors.

Stuff like the XMPSE, CGO, Animated Armory, Flower Girls, Animated Eating, Go to Bed, ect. All make use of custom animations.

If your talking about player exclusive animations you need the nemesis specific version. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31667


But judging by your post your just mad it isn't working with all your obscure sex mods.
