I ask because =
if it does, its likely a mod conflict
if it does not, then it is sometthing wrong with your save game
The problem is, that you cant really troubleshoot an affected save game because it might lead you in the wrong direction, therefore the reason why the new game question is so important.
If you have a lot of old saves you could maybe test each and maybe have luck to find one where the problem not appears
However if you've done something like add or remove mods mid-play (without starting a new game) then you might be able to fix it with just a new game.
Considering its happening when you try to leave the Frozen Hearth it's probably something that changed the area around Winterhold or the College. That kind of reverse-engineering a mod list doesn't usually end up well, though. It could be a hundred different things.
Not sure if it still does. Going to look for it and see.
Your save will be worse off after falrim tools then before. The tool is quite dangerous, And doesnt do what it claims properly.
Any regulars around here avoid it like the plague.

The above is the final and definitive thread concerning that topic.
