Skyrim SE will not start with the Inigo Mod!
I've recently downloaded mods, through Vortex, for the first time for Skyrim SE. I've run into a few issues with some of the mods in that when I go to start the game, nothing happens.

Through some trial and error I've gotten a handle on which mods the game starts with and which ones it doesn't. I didn't particularly care enough to delve deeper with most of them, but I'm genuinely bummed out about not being able to run the game with the Inigo Mod.

Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone maybe know a fix for this that I am missing?

Side-note: I have also yet to figure out how to get SE to run with SE Script Extender, I'm not sure if that might be the problem here.

2) make sure you read EVERYTHING in the mods description and sticky posts.
3) make sure you read and have all if any, required mods needed to run a certain mod (for example most clothing mods require XP32 Maximum Skeleton mod)

To install SKSE64 (SE script Extender) go to https://skse.silverlock.org

1) right-click "Current SE build 2.0.12 (runtime 1.5.62): 7z archive" (blue part) and save link as... I saved it on desktop
2) download 7zip here https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
3) once u have 7zip downloaded, create a folder on your desktop. I named mine "SKSE_A"
4) right click SKSE64 that you saved to your desktop and under 7zip, select extract all. set destination to "SKSE_A" or whatever you named the folder.
5) open "SKSE_A" and also open a new folder and type in this in the URL:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition

this is your program files for skyrim

6)go to your "SKSE_A" folder and cntrl+click all the items that start with "skse," right click and copy, then paste it into the program files folder in step 5.
7) go back to "SKSE_A" folder and right click "Data" and select 7zip > Archive to... send it somewhere you'll remember where it is.
8) in your mod manager, add that file you archived in step 7 and add it into your list like you would any mod. don't worry about the load order it won't show up in plugins.
9) you now have SKSE64 installed as intended

NOTE****
after installing Script Extender you can't open skyrim with the regular launcher. if you do it won't run with the extended scripts. go back to your Program Files for skyrim like in step 5 and there should be a file called "skse_loader.exe" copy or move this file to where you want because this is your new launcher. always launch skyrim with this file.

Oh my gosh thank you!

I did exactly as you said, the game is running perfectly AND I found Inigo!!

I definitely downloaded the wrong version of him the first time also...heh.

I have a lot to learn when it comes to downloading and playing with mods and already the initial process has humbled me.

But thank you so so much for your help and your speedy response, your instructions were very clear and very easy to follow! 10/10 =D <3

Please try to find difference between
this link https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40960?tab=description
and this link https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1461?tab=description

THEY ARE NOT THE SAME
And that was my biggest mistake.
