Something, somewhere, is incompatible.
Or perhaps that mod is just buggy.
30 1e Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp
Reverse these, Loot gets them wrong (can set Loot to remember their correct order that Eckesstra is always before Compilation)
Check Cold Harbour mod in xedit for conflict or maybe move it nearer the bottom of list so it overrides the conflict. (not familiar with the mod or if part of a larger mod.)
To plug in hundreds of mods and not know how to change your load order means you have skipped several steps.
I'm sorry, but modding Skyrim that heavily, with that many mods, is not as simple as installing a mod and pressing play.
Thank you so much! I'll read the whole stuff and try to find an answer. :)
Your mod list needs to be carefully debugged, to find the source of the problem
You need to also check every single mod's description carefully in the Nexus to be sure you're not missing patches or using mods that are known to be incompatible.
This is all made more difficult by the fact that some bugs won't be solved without starting an entirely new game.
Finding the exact culprit for a CTD in a modlist that long is very time consuming.
I also would like to find out more about crash reports. No one mentioned it, but i think it would be a great tool to identify the problem. Isn't it?
IF so, do you have any experience with crash reporters for Skyrim SE?
What WILL fix your problems is using less mods and managing them better.
The reason all the modders here are sticklers for "doing it right the first time" is so that we don't end up with 60 hours in a game full of crashes. Most of us plan to put 300-500+ hours on a character and need stability the whole time.
Thanks for your comment again. :) And i know that xEdit won't fix all my problems, but the problem is: Vortex and LOOT does not say anything about missing masters, missing files, conflicts, and so on. Then how should i able to detect the problems?
I also checked Skyrim SE original, without mods, still crashing.
As you can see at the mod order list, big amount of mods are just new items and new armor mods. Just a few adds extra lands, but i tried to manage them with patches. Double checked, for example Vigilant, no additional patch available at all, anywhere. And this is just one example.
For example, You: how do you sort out a problem like this? Furthermore, if you're "doing it right the first time", how do you decide which mods are compatible with each other? I always tried to install compatible mods - spent hours to listen to mod categories and video reviews.
That "users manual" did not give me any detailed information, just like the basics, like "what is loot", and "hit the 'sort plugins' button to start your load order then hit enable and that's all" category stuffs. But my problem here is different, and this is my 4th try with skyrim se with mods.
Read hundreds of comments when people saying they have much-much more mods and the game is stable like hell. I try my best all the time, and believe me: REALLY tries my best, to make the game stable, but at some point something always crashes, like in this time. For others, the mod works fine, but for me, with 200 mods - others using it with much more - not working, even if i'm trying to load the order correctly, and so on...
Sorry if i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or anything like this, but whenever i'm asking for help i'm just getting something like this: "sort your load order", or "these are not compatible mods". Thanks, i mean: you're helping me really: i sorted like 6545343236 times my load order and checked which mod is not compatible. But you REALLY think that enabling and disabling every-single-mod will help me in this stage?
I know maybe i'm asking too much, but is there any straight forward methods you're using at the FIRST INSTALLATION, or is it some kind of dogma which cannot be told out to foreign people? Like, everyone is sitting on these informations like no one is able to talk about it...
Sorry again for this long comment. :) And no hard feelings, i did not mean it personally.
Very time consuming. As in properly modding and checking to be sure your modlist isn't broken should take days. I usually set aside 5-7 days for an hour a day to carefully read through each mod's description and take time to play test every dozen or so mods I add.
Yeah, many of us spend as much as a week testing the game before settling into months of playing a character.
Because your crash happened in a mod-related place I would assume that mod or something interacting with it is causing the crash.
This means you either need to roll back to a save before you did anything with that mod and then remove the mod or you need to use process of elimination to figure out which other mod is breaking that mod and remove that one.
There is no magic button to solve this for you. Our "dogma" is hardwork, focus, caution and patience.
