"5. Run the SSE launcher through MO2 and make these settings...
Main Dialogue
Antialiasing set to TAA
Windowed mode unchecked
Advanced Dialogue
Snow Shader unchecked
Lens Flare unchecked
64-bit Render Target Checked
Screen Space Ambient Occlusion unchecked "
You also have a picture of the screen and in that I can see ...
Screen Space Reflections ... checked
Precipitation Occlusion ... checked
When I opened up my launcher those two were unchecked ... in fact everything was unchecked.
Do I copy the picture and check them or leave them unchecked??
You know what I'm like, Charles ... always double checking things ...
And the bit after that ... (you're gonna kill me here)
"7. That's it, test the game."
Right then ....
Do I start the game via the MO2 SKSE launcher or via the SSE launcher??
Sorry ....
I'm up the end of the 1st bulkload of mods and sorting them (5a)
I spotted a couple of things I'd like to check with you ...
When I install SMIM I get a ton of warning messages in the MO2 log.
These arrive after you click to install and before the menu screen arrives. The same thing happens if I try to reinstall the mod.
Here's a selection ...
[2021-09-28 01:06:44.270 W] [fomodinstallerdialog.cpp:919] Plugin "Improved Bowl Ingredients" is the only plugin specified in group "Bowl Ingredients" which permits selection of at most one plugin
[2021-09-28 01:06:44.274 W] [fomodinstallerdialog.cpp:919] Plugin "Hanging Rings" is the only plugin specified in group "Hanging Rings" which permits selection of at most one plugin
etc, etc, etc .... there's quite a few of these type .... and then a few of these ...
[2021-09-28 01:06:44.394 W] [fomodinstallerdialog.cpp:378] "The value exists but was not matched."
Do you get this happening?
I've also spotted something in the right hand pane data section. I saw this before I added any mods.
There's a Scripts.zip folder in there ... should that have been unzipped somehow or is that how it should be?
As the errors with SMIM...I exit out of the MO2 log almost right away and never read. Since SMIM works fine I think those can ignored.
Section 6 ....

So ... I finished downloading all the mods from 6a and was about to begin the install .. only this time I decided to watch your video of you installing them before I started.
Of course ... that is where the fun began ...
I chose the wrong video. I started watching the install video for 5a instead.
Easy mistake and no harm done ... shouldn't cause any problems.
But then I spotted that in your left hand pane there was a mod called "Indistinguishable Billboards for Skyrim SE" .... wait, I haven't got that mod ... I started to pay attention.
And then I heard Charles voice say in the video these immortal words ...
"So again, as we said before ... there's no need for docs and there's no need for mod groups"
I looked and saw him uncheck 2 boxes, clicked ok and it was gone.
Well, I hadn't done it that and I could swear blind that no one told me before about it but we are where we are ...... Oh, and it's installing the first bloody real mod ... ussep ... bugger.
And then he opened up SkyUI ... unchecked the fomod box ... and away ....
Hang on .... press pause and have a think about this ... not a great start considering I was watching the wrong video but equally ... par for the course for me.
Soooooo ......
Can I just reinstall these mods and tick the right boxes this time (I'll watch the video all the way through first) and will I be ok doing this ??
I still can't find the bit where I'm supposed to install "Indistinguishable Billboards for Skyrim SE" but I've found them on Nexus. I'll put them in next to DynDOLOD Resources.
Later on I'll watch the correct video ... who know what fun lies in that little chestnut.
Thanks for the heads up on the removed mods, simply skip by them. I really need to take the time to reinstall and update the guide. As for Arthmoor's mods I would imagine they have been moved over to AFK if you want to go there and get them.
I've found the Arthmoor mods and I'm sure someone will have Fixed Dragon Stalking Fix mod. I did find the name of it amusing.
Do you want me to continue listing any missing mods?
