Any good quality daggers at lvl 1?
So i'm doing a lvl 1 run and i'm trying to get a good dagger. I do have a few options, blade of woe is one, but the enchantments is lacking and i can't get any improvements on it cause it is enchanted. Valdr's lucky dagger stinks, ebony dagger seems to be impossible and so is the stalhrim dagger. I did manage to find a glass dagger, but ebony or stalhrim would be better, is there any way to get one of those without cheats?

Yes you can get one but it would mean getting your smithing skills up and making your own. Of course than you wouldn't be level 1 any longer. After all it don't take much to level up in the game
You can find elven daggers at a number of places right off, however I'm level 3 before I reach riverrun or whatever that village is, let alone before I manage to get to those locations with the daggers.

People, i don't level up, i got enough exprience to go up to 40 or something by now, but that is not the purpose of this run. Elven daggers are allready outclassed by the glass one sitting in my chest. Is there a way to obtain an ebony or stalhrim dagger at lvl 1, if not i just have to make due with the glass one and upgrade it with the smithing and enchanting capabilities i can obtain. I know i could get a daedric one from the atronach forge, but that one is enchanted, hence why an empty ebony one would be perfect.
I can't recall any Ebony weapons lying around, I usually get them off dead enemies, and they don't carry them until you are quite a bit past level one.

At level 1 anything past Steel will be over kill so does it really matter? Just use the Glass dagger.

Oh, found a way for an ebony dagger, dark brotherhood initiatives. Even though they start at lvl 10, they are always equiped with an ebony dagger and you can just take it from them, nice :)

Thanks for trying to help me out guys.

Actually, some locations and dungeons are set to higher difficulty and do not scale precisely to your level. However, most of those places are locked until a (main) quest opens them.

The damage difference between Glass and Ebony isn't enough decide that engagement.

But i could upgrade it into daedric, which is again slightly higher.

But only slight. It's 2 base damage from Glass to Daedric, so not a whole lot. Not enough to keep you from killing things, that's for sure.

I can't imagine doing enough damage with a L1 character to even beat a lot of high level enemy's health regeneration.

I have a mod installed for more powerful skeletons and i encountered a lvl 66 one, sure he could kill me in one hit but at the right position i could kill him without him hitting me. It's not the first game i have done in which i did a low level challenge, and by far it's not the most challenging one, even with mods to spawn more powerful enemies.

How about having some daedric gauntlets with 40% extra one handed damage, or shrouded gloves, or one handed at lvl 100, or using the max potential of smithing i can use. All of a sudden that 2 damage becomes 20, or even more.

There are enemies like Deathlords that are well armored, drop to a knee and regenerate quickly.

Well, i have killed a dosen of those, guess i can kill another one or 2 :) Also, a khajit with the gloves of the pugilist does 32 base damage with unarmed combat.
