How do i get to the underworld?

I've been wondering how to get to the underworld, and i've been looking how to on videos. Hopefully someone could help me. Thank you! :0

you can only access it with console commands or mods
and its not a world, its just a tiny room filled with bodies that the game needs for a script check

are you sure she was talking about Skyrim? and not about some form of her own personal spiritual experience?

thats the soul cairn, you get there if you follow the mainquest of the dawnguard dlc, which is included in skyrim se

well i dont care if i write about it or not, it was just a matter of if you want to find it for yourself

anyway, to start that questline go to riften, infront of the main gate (outside duh) go left, there should be a road heading east that goes over a small river via bridge, close to that bridge should be a broken tower to your left with 2 bandits inside, one of them carrying a copy of the "king" book

if you go over the bridge and head east a couple of meters there should be a cave to your left thats not marked on your map (unless you start the dlc by waiting until level 10 and getting the news about the dawnguard in a city) but its easy to spot due to having a fire lit, go at night and its really easy to see


follow that cave to the castle, speak to the guy inside and tell him you want to join, that starts the dawnguard dlc, even though you join him at that moment the real choice is later on when a vampire asks you if you want to become a vampire or not, choose either option both will at one point go to the soul cairn

No way man, the bit with the sunken ships is more boring...... shorter but boring.

If you don't know which bit I'm talking about, to the east of solitude in the sea, there are about seven ships on the sea bed. I explored them thinking "there has got to be SOMETHING here, they wouldn't put a load of empty ships here for no reason"

Boy, was I wrong.
And that in my opinion is the most boring part of the entire game.

for me its the forgotten vale, its far more annoying than the soul cairn imo
