Cant get character gen presets to show up in race menu

In race menu i cant get the character gen presets to show up, i have seen online that you should put them in the char gen preset folder in skse but for me it isnt there, do i have to create that folder?

Yes. When you create a preset, the folder pops up. The directory is normally: C:Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGen\Presets. If you're using Vortex It will be In your mods folder outside the game data folder. If you're using Mod Organizer 2, It will be located in your overwrite folder. If you're installing other people's presets with Mod Organizer 2, all you have to do is download and enable the mod in your Mod Organizer 2 and it will appear in game.

im using vortex and when i look in the mods folder in skyrim special edition, it says its empty

Check in the folder there SKSE puts it output files.

all of my mod folders are in the data folder not the mods one outside of the data folder

the problem i have is that all the solutions point towards CharGen/Presets in SKSE but that isnt there in the SKSE folder. Does anyone have an idea?
