Crash when load or start new game
I've been having problems when I load and start a new game I have been playing on a different computer so I have the saves from that but they don't load so I tried to start a new game but that didn't work and my gme's settings don't save I have no mod history on this computer but on the other I do. Everything is up to date on my computer including my drivers and my specs are:

GTX 1050ti

Intel core I5-7500

AsUS Prime 250B-Plus motherboard

8GB of RAM

a standard hard drive

and windows 10 64-bit

I've tried reinstalling the game deleting ini files completly removing it from my computer and giving it a fresh install and it just won't work no matter what I try.

one thing you may want to try is re-downloading all the previous mods you had on your old computer and using this tool called SSEEdit, and then sorting the mods with LOOT. Usually this for me would fix any problems with mods when it comes to crashing and helps to keep the game from future crashes. With LOOT it'll say what files are reccomended to clean with SSEEdit and it'll link a cleaning guide with it usually, if theres anything else i'll try to help with it.

Yea if you need any of the link I could quickly grab them, also if you use the nexus it might be easier to do the whole re-adding the mods with their old client and not vortex, that is if you're used to it.

I really wish they didn't change the nmm to that, so when you go to download a mod does it say to open vortex or to open nmm

try uninstalling vortex if you have it on there, unless you have mods for other games on there, cause then it would most likely ruin those games. also do you have the most recent release of nmm, aka 0.65.2.

if it works again nice, but i would still recommend LOOT and SSEEdit if you dont have them already, always nice to see whats broken and fixing it.

well if theres no errors underneath skyrim, update, any of the dlcs, then the game should launch perfectly fine and if it doesnt there might be some other errors in there, which idk if i could help with.

nice, glad you got it to work, always sucks when the game breaks from modding it too hard and then you have no idea how to fix it.
