Enchantment: Fire and Turn Undead vs Fire and Fear?
I'm enchanting an Orcish bow to be used by a dragon queen themed character and the bow will have with two enchantments. Of course the first enchantment will be fire damage. As for the second enchantment, I want it to fit the fire-theme. And so far the two that fit a dragon queen's fire-theme most would be Turn Undead or Fear as fire is a threat to undead folk and fire also inflicts pain and fear among those who burn. I know even with Illusion perks, the Fear enchantment will not affect the undead so only the living. But undead targets like vampires and draugr seem to be more dangerous and put up a fight. So which one should I use for Dany's dragon bow?

Until the last two series Daenerys never had anything to do with undead, so as pure theme that won't work. However Daenerys was initially more about removing fear, so the fear effect becomes problematic there too.

My advice is to ignore the theme for a second, and decide purely on how useful it will be to your character. Do you want to thin the horde attacking you, in which case you just need to choose whether you want to affect the living or the undead.

Or do you want an extra damage to affect those enemies who resist fire damage (some dragons for example) in which case add either frost damage or shock damage.

Dragon queen themed character is what I mean. But fair point. I should probably delete this post before I embarass myself further.

I don't know the character that well, but if fear really doesn't fit her you could just double down on the fire damage by making your second enchantment either fiery soultrap (the additional fire damage doesn't get better with enchantment power, but it does have the benefit of soultrapping) or the silent moons enchantment (additional fire damage at night)

That's not a bad idea as well. The Silent Moons effect is cool. Does it actually work though? Or is it still bugged without a mod?

Daenerys was almost entirely defined by her ability to strike fear into her enemies (which is to say, anyone who refused to bend the knee)since she crucified the slavers (all else was a lie told to both her subjects and to herself) so I would say that Fear and Fire are definitely the most fitting enchantments for a Dragon Queen themed character.

I honestly couldn't say. I've run the unofficial patch for so long now that I just take a lot of stuff working for granted and don't really remember a lot of the glitches that didn't brick my progress in something, or cause other permanent consequences.

Thank you "Blood on the Ice" quest, and being able to kill enemies that were non-essential and non-respawning but but whose deaths were required DURING specific quests' stages to advance.

I like this! Yeah! Yeah, that's right! Bend the knee or die! I think since you've answered the topic question and that I'll be going with your opinion, how about you help me name the bow? I was thinking of calling it Dracarys, but perhaps you have something better in mind?

How about Fire and Blood?

You do know that you get a shout that allows you to ride dragons, right? You even get to use magic attacks while riding, and can have your dragon fly around and use breath attacks.

all without mods.

mods make it even better ofc.
