So I need to do this quest where I need to make a copy of shalidors insights or whatever. It is not showing me an arrow to where I can make a copy. Yes, I have looked it up and it spawns randomly so I'll need to find it, but, I thought I'd use the Clairvoyance spell to guide me, but it first let me to the top of a mountain and now it says that there is no path.. wth am i supposed to do

Gathering special books for Urag?

They appear in dungeons and caves selected randomly, try any nearby. If all else fails you can always load a save from before you accepted the quest and leave it alone.

The thing is that I accepted that quest well over a year ago, I dont know where I was back then and that save has been long overwritten.

Saves overwritten.. That is bad saving habit.

You should not make one copy you need to find one book made by Shalidor.
Those books are part of one quest line.

Do you have USSEP installed? It fixes some bugs in that questline.
