Fus vs Feim and Yol
It seems like Fus is by far the best choice as far as I can understand from UESP wiki.

Feim is rather useless to my build. I rarely go ethereal and even if I do, the increased regen is meh. Can't figure out what Feim is for.

Yol sounds cool at first but applies only to fire shout.

Some shouts need you to press the button for prolonged time to have better effect. Not very well implemented because I would use Fus as a stopper. And until I say the full shout would get hit and desired effect wasted.

Actually if u use FUS RO u can already with the study of FUS, be pretty overpower, but i prefer fus because it applies to other things, but, let me ask, what difficulty u play? or do u use combat mods? Because u see, become ethereal save ur skin from all kinds of magic(for a pure warrior build/enchants) it's pretty useful. Besides it's stop poison/traps/vampires and so on and on. (the regen i think it's cheat, better invest in alchemy or speech to buy potions)

1H shield warrior on adept. Too easy at this point. Slaughtering Forlorn frontal attack in groups, in gangs, in isolation I don't care. Taking whole dungeons in record speed. Plus I bring a follower about my level too.

I agree Ethereal on Legendary could make a difference on a sneak thief.

Aint the Fus borked and does not work? I think i read that somewhere. Everything that effect stagger does not actually do anything (Perks, skills, etc) extra.

So far dragons are toughest but is just matter of time. I heard that there are unique priests that are dangerous but haven't met any so far.

The description of Fus says in wiki

"Augments power attacks and Unrelenting Force shout". This is substantial. Not just Fus Ro Dah but also power attacks !!!

Yol isn't bad, but fire is subject to resistance, so you end up with either some damage or some more damage. The full shout does 90 points, or about 113 with meditation. That's less than what I can do with a well-tempered sword and appropriate perks, but it's not bad at lower or mid-levels. Where it's a problem is that the full shout requires picking up the second (third?) word from Sunderstone Gorge. Except for a couple of radiants, the only reason to go there is if you're chasing the Stones of Barenziah.

The number of times that I really want/need to be ethereal is pretty small and I can get that off of the Feim shout alone. Yeah, the 25% boost to health regeneration is nice, but it only lasts for 18 seconds if you use the full shout (8 seconds with just one word) and potions/gear can do much more than that for far longer. You're only guaranteed to pick up one word of the shout at Ustengrav. The other two words aren't in especially out-of-the-way locations, though. The shout is not intended to be a no-damage solution, but there are better ones.

Fus, on the other hand not only boosts the shout, but also anything with a stagger effect. So it's good for the shout, power attacks, shield bashes, spells (especially the Impact perk from the Destruction tree) or whatever. And you're going to get all three words of the shout as part of the main quest. Like the others, it's not especially powerful. But it's certainly more useful in more situations.

Feim is bugged I think and permanently adds a regen, even if you aren't in Ethereal form. As long as you meditate on Feim once, you get the +25% Regen rate forever.

But yes, Fus is the best. It makes Maces unbeatable in combat as long as your Stamina holds out, you can stagger lock the enemy with power attacks. And this of course extend to any other weapon with 1.0 Stagger rate or higher. Maces have 1.0, Greatsword has 1.10, Greataxe has 1.15 and Warhammer has 1.20. Stalhrim weapons also adds a 0.1 bonus.

Not a lot of people know how Stagger works, but at 1.15 and over you can actually stagger ultralarge enemies with power attacks, including Dragons. The only way to stagger a Dragon with a 1 handed weapon is using the Stalhrim Mace and Meditate on Fus, but Battleaxes and Warhammers can stagger them sometimes by default.
