Neloth Bug
I made the mistake to leave Solstheim and went back to Riften before Neloth was able to open Nchardak. Later i was not able to find him and couldnt complete the quest. So i used console to teleport to him and i found out, the game ported him to Skyrim too. I later found a solution for it and wanted to post it here, if someone else encounters this same problem.

the solution is:

go to Nchardak
enter "prid 040177da" in console
then you enter "moveto player"
this will port Neloth back to you
talk to Neloth and the quest should advance correctly.

I have in the past returned to Skyrim before talking to Neloth, never encountered any issue because of this...
Well, I mean, the REAL solution is not to try to drag Neloth back to Skyrim. I can't think of any legitimate reason why someone would try to return to Skyrim in the brief period of time where Neloth is Following you (At the beginning of the Nchardak Ruins) and before he opens the door (a Scant 150 feet, with only a handful of bandits)

It's not before talking to Neloth, OP looks like he was trying to have Neloth Follower back in Skyrim.

No, he says in his first sentence that he was on the mission to go to Nchardak with Neloth.

Read again, later he says he found Neloth in Skyrim, which means he was actively following the player. He only follows the player at one very brief point in the game, starting when the player actually approaches Nchardak in the appropriate mission.

So he was actively doing the Nchardak mission, and before reaching the spot where the Cube is used, fast traveled back to Skyrim, and since Neloth was considered a follower, the game moved him too.

My guess is OP cleared Nchardak, and then the script to have Neloth use the cube was activated, but during this, OP Fast Traveled back to Skyrim, and now Neloth is stuck in a script lock.

Sell stuff to the guy in Solstiem, he's a fence too.
In fact if they aren't stolen, sell them to any vendor who will buy them, it makes zero sense to go back to Riften just to sell stuff.

Sir, i had like 300 Gems from the Barnziah's Crown effect, the guy in Solstheim has only 2000 Gold, but the Thieves Guild Vendor has 4000 Gold. In one sell-run i make like 50000 Gold with all the gems, so i need to sell to someone with more gold. After the vendors gold is gone, i quicksave, then attack the vendor until he gets hostile, then i reload. After reload he has the 4000 Gold again.

So you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up your game because you didn't want to attack the vendor and re-load a few more times?

That's honestly pretty hilarious.

I do have a deeper understanding of the game, including the fact that by the time you have the crown of barenziah you should have bought everything worth buying in the game, making money pretty much irrelevant, so a cheat to give them more gold is pretty meaningless.

What you tell as a fact is only a variable. I started a new game and did fast runs to all 24 Barenziah locations with a new Level 1 character WITHOUT much gold. I had Barenziahs Crown even before i went to Whiterun to fight the first dragon. please get a wider perspective, sir.
