Can someone here help me out with HDT Hair, please?
I can't think anything of a solution anymore. It took me the whole day basically to finally setup the mods properly and make bouncing/physics on body. That's done and all's good and well, but the hair? Yeah, good luck with that, me.

So, can anyone, literally, anyone with both knowledge, time and patience help me out, please? I have installed the requirements and extras and doesn't work. These are the files the person told me about :

1. HDTSSE Framework 1.5.80

2. HDTSSE Physics 1.5.80

3. HDT SSEHh 1.5.80

What's the hair mod in question?
one sec tre: i think i know why your hair mod(s) arnt working.......your hdt framework, physics and version is out of date and needs to be updated to the current version of 1.5.97:

https://skse.silverlock.org/

those are the previous versions and i would provide links but most come from LL and steam censors its link so that you would have to hunt up on your own

Yeah, the person who helped me set up the body physics told me the are not new versions of them, so I can't really have hair and armors using HDT-SMPs. I still have them on my mods list and active and the game is fine, it just a bit of shame after so many hours setting up and testing everything. Will check though, thanks for letting me know.

YunDao HDT hair and Dint999 HDT Hair Pack. And I am mostly care for the Dint999 HDT Hair Pack to be honest, but the 3 mods for the HDT are outdated, so, I am waiting in case someone with knowledge about that, decides to sit down and update them, one day.

Hmm, yeah, looks like SMP isn't updated for 1.5.97 yet. If you're on the latest game version you'll need to wait for that. Also, I hope you've got the SMP versions of those hair packs, not the old HDT ones.

Uh, I think Dint's is like 1.50 version, but from the words of that person, it does work, so long as the three aforementioned HDTs are on par with the SKSE64 and game's version update. I also did the trick on Steam to prevent any updates in the future. I started playing again like 4 days ago, didn't know I was on update/post update installation.

If your friend says so. But old HDT versions don't work with SMP, just so you know.

To work with HDT/SMP, hairs need to be remade with custom bones and a script needs to be written for them. The reason there aren't many physics hair mods for SSE is that all the scripts need to be re-written for SMP. The old ones don't work, and the number of people who are proficient in writing SMP scripts is still pretty low.

Even converting the old HDT version of KS Hairdos with its 75 hairs would be a colossal amount of work. Adding physics support to the new KS Hairdos SSE with its almost 800 hairs would be... inconceivable!

My friend has video as a proof, showing Skyrim SE with the hair and animations and body physics all working perfectly. I am not sure but he told me this is for SE and the video guide he had with what to download were also for SE.

Ok, fair enough. Then it's probably an SMP version.

I got a hard time believing nobody else can update those damn HDT mods, like from what I understand its a change in the scripting..... for the skse version

Outfits with BBP are a very different thing than custom physics. Old BBP is trivial to convert, and it's really easy to add to outfits that don't have it. CBP(C) on Nexus has also quickly made it widespread. But SMP is still pretty rare because the few people who can convert for it are concentrated on that other modding site. Old mods which have their own custom physics files, such as hairs, skirts and cloaks are still exceedingly rare on the SSE Nexus. This one's one of the few that has an SMP skirt:

Simple Skirt (HDT-SMP Physics)
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23096/

This is a pretty big reason why I decided to go to trouble of writing an SMP chapter to my new mod conversion guide here on Steam.
