Help With Mythic Dawn Quest

I've just started the Mythic Dawn quest where you find the pieces of Mehrune's Razor. Im trying to get to where the pommel is but the problem here is that when I try to scale the mountain to get to it (im in a river) it just freezes.

Try a different way, your prob going over a invisible wall your not allowed to go over. Its better not to go from from the city. Go from the south east, like the ork stronghold.

oh alright then, but if theres an invisible wall why does it simply freeze? ive encountered one before (the "you cant go that way") but the freezing has never happened

caz you jumped over the wall.


somtimes when jumping up mountain that the game didnt think you could get up it freaks out. thats what its allways better to follow roads

There's a trail, or maybe road that leads up there. You actually have to pass through a Forsworn outpost/fortress type of thing to reach it. And yeah, sometimes if you do things you "arent' supposed to do in an open world game (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Bethesda)" Skyrim will vomit and die on you. Irritating at times, but that Skyrim Sorcery can be a real ♥♥♥♥♥.
