WHERE THE ♥♥♥♥ IS SOLAIRE
OK, so I just checked Nexus Mods, and there is NO Solaire companion, or any armor mod. I get that y’all like your sex mods or whatever, but how the ♥♥♥♥ am I supposed to spread the word of Meridia without my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Solaire

By using any one of the other hundreds of companion mods on the Nexus?

Failing that, you could just smite any undead you come across and scream "Meridia's doom be upon you!" at the top of your lungs. You might get some strange looks from your neighbors afterwards, but it's all in Meridia's name so I'm sure it's worth it.

I do that already, and I have downloaded all my armor mods necessary for a proper crusade against the undead. I just need Solaire, for the glory of the sun.

I am surprised that there is no Solaire mod though. A lot of mods got left in Oldrim behind it seems

Not every mod maker could run the newer version when it launch, they moved on, as others already had for new games.

You could try to port it yourself. There is an excellent guide listed in one of the Pinned Topics, or if not there it is in one of smr's posts. It's really not that difficult to do.

While there are ALOT of other companion mods, (Inigo, Hoth, Sofia? Sophia? Recorder, and some others I can’t think of right now.) a lot of them are just characters using a default voice and basic commands, with no depth to them. I would think Solaire would be decent, and if done right, using the voice from Dark Souls (Is that not allowed on Nexus?) it would be great.

Oh cool, I’ll see what I can do. Thanks for telling me about that.

Just to clarify though. Please don't post it if you do convert it to SE. You could ask the mod author if they want you to though, as perhaps they just didn't want to go to the trouble of converting it. They may say okay, and then you can post it on the Nexus. Just make sure to ask the author first, otherwise it's just for personal use.

Alright. I’ll see what I can do, and see if I can get the author’s permission

There is a voiced one in the non-adult section of Likerslab. You'd have to convert it for use in Special Edition, though.

Using assets from another game is against nexus TOS so if you do end up making one yourself you'll have to make the assets yourself.

It depends on the developer really, bethesda does not allow this, Others like CDPR however had no issues allowing modders to add witcher assets into skyrim mods.

Up to namco bandai/ from software for dark souls assets.

They are not on this chart, But a lot of others are:

I 100% read that as Solitaire at first and was super confused about why you needed a solitaire mod in skyrim.
