At the bottom, in the bug section, it states that sometimes entering Hjerim can cause the game to crash. There is no known solution to this. This is with the game in a vanilla state with no mods.
Some things to try, if you haven't already, turn off all autosaves. This is recommended anyways. Just use manual and the occasional quicksave as autosaves can cause infinite load screens. This actually did happen to me, in a different location, turning off autosaves fixed it for me. Your mileage will vary.
Installing the Unofficial Patch is 100% recommended for anyone playing Skyrim as it fixes an enormous amount of bugs in the vanilla game. If you also want the achievements, you an install the Achievements Mod Enabler which allows you to get them with mods installed. Not sure if you can install it in an ongoing playthrough, but I'm sure someone knows or you can check the mod page yourself on the Nexus.
Otherwise, just looking at what the Wiki says, you might not be able to access it again. Perhaps rolling back a save will fix it for you. One thing I will say, with Hjerim it is a very touchy home. I would buy the "clean up" upgrade to clean up the mess from Blood on the Ice, check the house, then go back to the Housecarl and buy the rest of the upgrades. Doing this BEFORE you do anything else with the home will give you an almost guarantee of no bugs. I say almost because nothing in Skyrim is 100% perfect and bugfree.
