I need help converting an animation mod for SE
Yesterday, I found this mod called "Realistic Animation Project - Movement" and I really wanted it but it's only for Oldrim. But then I heard you can convert it using a .bat file and creation kit. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2970/?tab=description So, I used this guide. I did everything that it said to do to convert it to SE, but when I went to go test it I just got a T-pose when moving, jumping, sneaking .etc. Though, it doesn't happen when I'm standing idle, and that's because the mod doesn't cover idles. So, I just removed it from NMM and now everything works properly, but I really want to use this mod so if someone could point out what I'm doing wrong or what the problem is, that would be great.

This will only work if the converted "Animation mod" is a simple animation replacer.

It will not work, if it is an FNIS dependent mod. FNIS dependent mods have a behavior file in the "behaviors" folder. If this file is not converted, ALL (non-creature) characters will show t-pose. What makes it even harder is a quirk of the Bethesda tool. I have made the experience that those FNIS generated behavior files will not always be usable after conversion. I don't know if it is sometimes or always. Since after my first bad encounter I have always re-generated those behaviors with the GenerateFNIS_for_modders tool.

Your tool will also not work if you try to convert an animation mod with a fomod setup.

Can confirm that the "HKX Compatibility" tick in FNIS worked for me to get rid of the T-pose when converting and using RAP Movement. I now have a conversion of RAP Movement and RAP Idles as well as Randomize Idles all working together. I'm using a custom skeleton, which is why this tick is needed I think.

DrasticPup, I think your problem is different, though I don't know what it is. I'm wondering if you're ticking "Gender specific animations" as well? I think FNIS needs that to work with PCEA2.
