I need help converting an animation mod for SE
Yesterday, I found this mod called "Realistic Animation Project - Movement" and I really wanted it but it's only for Oldrim. But then I heard you can convert it using a .bat file and creation kit. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2970/?tab=description So, I used this guide. I did everything that it said to do to convert it to SE, but when I went to go test it I just got a T-pose when moving, jumping, sneaking .etc. Though, it doesn't happen when I'm standing idle, and that's because the mod doesn't cover idles. So, I just removed it from NMM and now everything works properly, but I really want to use this mod so if someone could point out what I'm doing wrong or what the problem is, that would be great.

Thanks :)

You did run FNIS after installing the animations right?
DrasticPup Aug 11, 2018 @ 3:27pm
Okay, just downloaded it and I when I run GenerateFNISforUsers it says:

ERROR(76): Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\scripts\FNIS_aa2.pex

Help?

Your FNIS is not installed in to correct location. The patch for FNIS application should be:

...SteamApps/common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users

The only "tools" folder I have is in Skyrim Special Edition folder. I don't have one in data. Steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\tools\ is where I have the GenerateFNISforUsers folder located.

Installing FNIS by mod manager or manually should create this file path automatically for you. That path is what FNIS itself uses in the archive.

Does this mean it worked?

PCEA 2 is not installed correctly either. Uninstall the mod and install it with the provided path. Something has gone wrong with it.

Right now it can not fined Behavior.hkx from proper folder.

All warnings and errors are meaningful with FNIS.

Reinstalled FNIS, same error message.

Edit: Wait, you mean I need to download PCEA 2?

The warning indicates that you already had. I need to check what FNIS is actually doing.
DrasticPup Aug 11, 2018 @ 4:51pm
How are you going to check what it's doing?
Ilja Aug 11, 2018 @ 4:54pm
By running it, when I wake up. It is almost 3am here in Finland. I need to set the game and mods ready, before I can check it through.

Aight

do you use a costum skeleton?

also did you read the note about patches on the FNIS page?
HKX File Compatibility Check Skyrim/SSE: Cross-using behavior, skeleton, and animation files between Skyrim and Skyrim SE will result in the well-known t-pose. General t-pose when behavior or skeleton files from the other Skyrim are used, animation-long t-pose in case of cross-used animations. This patch will check for such bad files. Obviously, it only makes sense to use this patch if you experience t-pose situations. And FNIS will not keep this patch ticked for more than one FNIS generation.

Nope. I'm not using any skeleton or animation mods.
What patch am I suppposed to download for the t-pose?
Grumpy Aug 12, 2018 @ 7:16am
you dont need to download anything, just check the box within FNIS.
