I'm going to just use the spell until I get the Silence perk which gives you the same boost as muffle (spell). Muffle enchantments tend to be only half as effective where as a sneakl boost helps with sound and sight.
Self enchanted muffle removes sound completely unlike pre-enchanted ones, same as Silence. As a stealth character idk how much destruction you'll actually be using to warent free cost, reduction sure but totally free? You also don't really need drain weapons if people die in one shot. Better off using a bow for range as they benefit from the sneak attack damage. Best best is to stick to one-handed and sneak enhancements, with magic regen and muffle thrown on which can be replaced once you have silence.
