It is removed since it is obsolete and cant handle the new esp format.
Atleast that is one part of it.

wouldnt use it for skyrim se though since it gets broken if you use .esl files

That is the new light esp format. NMM cant handle them.

I mostly use MO2 for Fallout 4. I've switched over to Vortex for TTW and Skyrim SE.

I still use it, but I have very small builds and would absolutely never use an .esl file (guess which two of those three are true! - LOL!)

Seriously though, NMM is NOT recommended. It was outdated even before it was buried. Anyone modding the game should be using Vortex or MO2.

I use it and have 150+ mods, only one crash and that was my fault for installing two conflicting mods.
