First of all, my pc doesn't have a c drive, and second, I've already done the browse local files numerous times. I know where everything is, the problem is the only thing that's loading is just SkyrimLauncher.exe. And then nothing. And Nexus, despite finding the game yesterday, doesn't register it now.
- Make sure that your security software haven't brainlessly quarantined your Skyrim.exe. That has happened before.
If that is not the case, then:
- Steam Library: Right click the game.
- Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.
If that does nto solve the problem and you suspect client itself is bugged:
- Steam client: Steam: Downloads: Clear Download Cache. (Prepare to sign back in to client.)
- Verify Integrity of Game Cache again.
