What mods are you trying?
Is the game simply not starting or are the mods not showing up in game? "Mods won't work" isn't descriptive enough to help fix it.
Can you see and enable/disable the mods in the Skyrim launcher?
i meant that I had the downloads set to the correct location, i will try LOOT, thanks.
there's the unp head and body mod, skyui5, and race menu. i mean the game works fine but the mods aren't there, it plays like vanilla skyrim.
And you should consider to upgrade from NMM to atleast Vortex.
I have installed mods for other games and have watched multiple guides, NMM is what i'm familiar with and idk if i want to switch.
Seriously consider changing to either MO2 or Vortex.
Are you actually running the game through SKSE64 or through Steam? It needs to be the former if you have mods that require SKSE64.
been there, done that.
i'll consider it, but all NMM does is put mods in the data folder [and of course allow you to manage load order and such] so i don't see why it wouldn't work
Remove NMM and upgrade to Vortex or MO2.
It's pretty much an open secret that the experts have moved onto MO2, but Vortex is also a viable alternative.
