Weird Running Vampire Fledgling

Whilst slaughtering towns folk on a barren road, I was suddenly passed by an NPC labeled only as 'Vampire Fledgeling'. When coming close to a gaurd, who was intnet on slaying me, she said "Help! Somebody do somthing"! Proceeded to use an invisibility spell and crouched out of the way and sat there untill I had killed them all. Then she got up and continued running, I was so confused, why wasn't she attacking me? I followed her through half of Skyrim- She would occasionally get stuck and stand a while waiting for the AI to find another path. Well, about 15 minuets she went to "White River Watch". She again crouched invisibly untill I had killed all of the bandits in the cave. Now, she went to a specific spot in the cave and just stood there- When I would talk to her she said, "Hm", "Is there somthing I can help you with", "Yes", ect... Not normal vampire dialouge. I exited and reentered the cave, and she was gone. What kind of strange bug is this?

yeah, I have encontered her like 2 times already, in diferent playthroughs.
I think it was sopposed to be " ow look a vampire running , I'll follow it and see where the nest is.

The Vampire Fledgeling is fleeing a pair of Vigilants of Stendarr during her random encounters. If you slay her, the Vigilants will thank you.

I managed to get a moving, back-of-the-head shot on one of them yesterday, outside Dawnstar, with an icy spear. Vampires do the best faceplants.
