Is it possible to get through Skuldafn temple without the golden claw?
Not quiet sure what happened to my golden claw, my quest log says I gave it to it's rightful owner long ago. Thing is, in order to get past the 3rd puzzle in Alduin's Skyldafn temple quest, I need the golden claw to unlock the door. What do I do?

Yes. Golden Claw is used in Bleak Falls Barrow.

EDIT: What you need is Diamond Dragon Claw. Not Gold.

I don't recall ever needing the golden claw. You shouldn't need to use any of the claws in more than one dungeon. Most of the time, you'll find it in the dungeon its meant for, with only a few exceptions. As for that, the sapphire claw is the only exception to this I can think of right now.

As for the diamond claw, I'm fairly confident its in skuldafn, seeing as you can't leave it until you finish it, and you can only go there once. Scour the ruins for it and you should find it. Sometimes the claws are in the inventories of certain npcs.

You don't need the Golden claw anywhere except Bleak Falls Barrow.

You need the Diamond claw which is in the inventory of one of the draugr before the door.

hmm ok, I guess I just didn't find the diamond claw, ig ill go back and search for it but I'd assume it should've been in my path on my way to the door..

The exception is the Forgotten legends quest (Gauldur Amulet) where you need the claws you pick up for the last dungeon.
