Resist Frost Potions

Can anyone confirm if these work with survival mode to keep from being cold periodically?

I'm not sure how CC survival works, but if it's like Frostfall then resist frost increases your resistance to cold exposure as well. It doesn't stop you from freezing, however.

As far as I can tell, no.
It doesn't touch resist frost potions or effects at all, according to xedit, unless it was included in Skyrim.esm and I didn't find it yet.

As far as I'm aware, which I'll admit isn't much, frost damage is different from cold exposure, so a potion that increases your resistance to frost damage won't help with exposure.

Hmm thanks for the responses, I thought the same but what I thought had happened is the Cold "Snowflake" icon did disappear for the 60 secs that I had consumed a potion, not sure if you guys could test this out for me? Only reason I ask is I'm also playing my first playthrough on legendary and my carry weight is 90% thistles for the pots haha, if it does nothing I'll stock up on healing pots instead!
