Sprinting Animation Bug
Hello! I have noticed a third person only bug recently where a small "frame/animation" in the transition between non-combat walking and sprinting appears quickly and creates this jerking/jumping motion. I have found others who share this glitch/bug and it seems to be a long standing bug that has very little information surrounding it.

I do have a few mods installed (about 40) and I first thought it was an issue with FNIS PCEA2 or XP32 but upon changing them around and uninstalling them the issue persists through new saves and old ones. I have yet to uninstall all of my mods as the ones left shouldn't interfere with animations and the others who have this problem seem to have it without mods (clean ini, etc).

This video shows what I am experiencing, though my bug is much more visible and jarring:

Here is my personal bug:

Any help is appreciated!

From what I can remember the issue was caused by a script/mod I had installed called "Third Person Movement Delay Fix". This script modified the .ini setting called "fControllerBufferDepth" under the Controls section. I fixed it by setting it to fControllerBufferDepth=0.045.

ah, i know about that one, it's a vanilla "feature", unfortunately inertia doesn't fix the jittery turning animations :/ maybe it's just the animations themselves that are the problem but i can't rly find anyone (who is bothered enough by it) with the same issue on the mod page. oh well thanks anyway

Having this exact same problem. I've never installed Third Person Movement Delay Fix, and I'm experiencing this regardless of whether or not I have mods installed. I tried adding the line fControllerBufferDepth=0.045 directly to the Skyrim.ini to see if that would help, no dice unfortunately.

Assorted Animation Fixes implements various animation fixes, but I don't remember if this one in particular is included:
