Borderless Window is Way Off-screen
It doesn't seem to be scaling correctly, and I have no idea why. I only have one monitor, 1920 x 1080. The resolution is correct in the settings and in the .ini file, and it displays correctly in fullscreen and in windowed modes, but not in borderless. In borderless, the menu is so far off-screen that I can't start the game. How do I fix this?

I seemed to have the same problem, so I just started playing in fullscreen. Unfortunately I am not sure what causes this problem. Have you tried uninstalling, deleteing all files related to Skyrim SE, and reinstalling?

I experienced this problem on a fresh installation so no, I haven't yet tried reinstalling the game. I don't really want to go back to playing fullscreen like I did with the original Skyrim. There's really no fix for this, after all this time?

I am sorry I don't really know, I do remember having the issue, but I think the only thing that fixed it was reinstalling it.

Hopefully someone else might have better advice if you don't want to try the stuff I said you may have to do. I get having a certain gameing screen preference, but you may just have to play in full screen or try moving the window when you open it so it will be centered.

Reinstalled the game anyway and jiggled some settings. It looks like Mod Organizer 2 is doing something. Running the game through Steam has no issues in borderless, but running it by clicking through MO2, even if it doesn't have any mods installed, puts up borderless in the wrong resolution. Trying to figure out how to fix that.

Edit: Correction: It's the right resolution with the wrong hud scaling.

you could check within MO in the ini files if the resolutions are set right.

I doubt you remember, but what is the setting to change hud scaling and what is the value?

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
