Alternative for Skyrim Flora Overhaul
I'm using SFO and Verdant Grass mod, but it tanks my FPS too much, droppin it by atleast 20 in forrests.
Is there a more performance friendly mod you can recommend that overhauls the flora (trees, grass, flowers, such stuff)?
I really liked the looks of the mod though :(

cathedral landscape https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21954

it uses parts of some mods (including sfo), is usually up to date and is optimized and preformance friendly.

It needs a weather mod to run properly as it seems.
I wanted to use obsisidan weather mod instead. I found a mod reducing the texture size of SFO, hopefully this will do the job

Mind you that mod has a hard requirement of Cathedral weathers

Well SOF has also a impact on my system (!7 4790, 16 GB ram, GTX1080 sc)

Cathedral Landscapes doesn't require a weather mod to function properly. I was using it without Cathedral Weathers and never had any issues. Perhaps you'll be missing out something very insignificant though. Try it out. You could also try Northern Grass. I personally am using a mix of CL and NG, but that's another story.

the mod doesnt require cathedral weathers to work, the grass might not look as good as it should, if you are using another weather mod. cathedral weathers is also built from obsidian weathers so it isnt that big of a difference
