Hunters or the Netch?

If you go to Solstheim, you might at some point come across a group of hunters that are about to kill a Netch (the giant jellyfish shock thingies that float), and they ask you to join in on the hunt and help the hunters kill it.
Now my question is, would you kill the Netch or would you instead kill the hunters and save the Netch?

I personally find the Netch to be one of my favourite creatures, they make such calming noises and are generally cute I think, so I turned on the hunters and the Netch lived on, only hurt the hunters.
Only once have I killed a Netch out of curiousity, it was the first time I had seen them back then, and I honestly regret it.

But would you kill the Netch or the hunters?

If you want Skaal clothing they are a good source of them. And you will only get a bounty if you leave any of them alive (or is in range of friendly NPC's that is not the hunter group).

I came right from a completely deserted part of the island with no NPC's, probably why I got no bounty, but I did not get one the moment I attacked them either, strange. The skaal clothes are nice, so maybe I'll use it.

Depends on my mood at the time. Sometimes I just watch the action. Last time, I just kept healing the netch. Sometimes I help the hunters feed their families.

I think the area close to mushroom area is glitched, because the hunters keep coming back to life when I visit the netch, lol.
