Lack of robes for pure mages.
I installed the called "awakened magicka" mod, and this is really great I really feel like a mage, but one thing I noticed is the lack of fashion robes gloves , boots and masks or whatelse. does anyone recomends a good mod that you have already used and liked it?

i personally love the gothic series and i also love the mage robes of the gothic series.

there is a mod which adds armors and robes from gothic 1 and 2 to skyrim but with this mod you can not only have the robes and you get a few locations which is incompitable with mods which edit the same area then this mod do.

the robes in this mod are probably not something everyone likes but i love them.

the only problem is that the author forgot to include the facegen data so the npcs have black faces, i dont know if that is already fixed yet but if you have the creation kit downloaded you can fix it for yourselfe very easily.

it is called JackoOs Gothic Armory SE

also an unarmored dwemer robe (looks like armored but isnt)

if you play a female character there are quite some other designs as well, less so for males sadly

i wish that robes gave other special abilities for mages, like flying

but that would be really hard to add in a game like skyrim where everything is attached to the ground

That would not be that hard as far as I know, I already saw a mod which added a levitation spell so a flying ability should be possible in some form.

theres a (skse requiring) mod that adds dragon wing to glide, its a bit buggy though (at least when i tried it they kept retracting, causing you to fall xD)

well mages wear them however mostly higher level mages. You have also a dwarven mage set.

I haven't seen any of the mods' robes on anyone. Since i had to restart the playthrough, im only lvl 6 or so, but i though I'd see some NPCs wear them or at least see them at a crafting station of any sort since there is no real armor stats for the robes... Nope, can't find any of them anywhere

You still have to have the proper smithing perks unlocked to make them IIRC. Read the mod page.

I see nothing on the mod page in description that states I need smithing perks for robes therefore I'm confused
