Skyrim Special edition suddenly added to my library
So I am bored and thought to replay Skyrim. Back in 2014-ish I bought Skyrim Legendary edition, which had all expansions etc. I put in almost 300 hours and I enjoyed it. So now I wanted to replay it since I dont have anything else to play. But all of a sudden I see Skyrim Special edition in my library. Is this normal? Do people who own the legendary edition automatically get the special edition? Because I cant remember ever buying the special edition. I'm not complaining or anything, its actually a very nice surprise. But I was just curious if this was normal.

It is a special offer that expired two years ago (you get SSE free if you owned Skyrim and all of the expansions, or SLE).

Anyone who owned Skyrim LE on Oct 28, 2016 got SE for free (or own oldrim and bought all the DLCs on or before that date)

"All of a sudden"? It should have been there for the past 2 years.

I am replaying Oblivion, which I never finished from buying the disc in 2006.

Maybe the third time of playing it with the other 2 abandoned quite early on, so that is about 4-5 years between plays and taking any notice of it.

Easily done when you have hundreds of games in your library and don't return to certain ones for years at a time.
