Which mod adds the layer of fog floating around in the game? That is a possible cause of this. My old one has it but the new one does not.

Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) modifies the lighting significantly. It's a love/hate mod. I like some of the effect but I don't like the way it treats distant lighting. This makes the areas it does light far more dramatic. It also seems to take some details out while enhancing others.

Circlet of light, Ring of light and Candlelight all have about the same brightness. When used together they do not stack the light (same intensity). Quicklight is much less intense. I think the biggest takeaway here is Circlet, Ring or Candlelight in an ice cave with the fog rolling around is a problem.
Enhanced lighting adds to the problem. You can't see in the distance so you need a light but if you use a light it is blinding.
I am going to try one more area where I saw a problem.
@Hyen I have never used that mod sorry.
A bit OT. However, I took a look.
It seems to me that mod just has PAS-files. Installing it through MO2 and then selecting relevant PAS from Data table should be the way to go.
- Right click the file and select "Add as Exectuable..."
I haven't tried that - I do not currently have SSE installed - but I can't see any other way for it to work.
You mean to say if I installed the mod only with the pas files, then right click the mod I can add it as executable? Gonna try it out now.
I noticed that there was LE version. I just tested and it is working correctly.
Except that file that needed to be set as executable wasn't PAS, but BAT-file.
Install the mod via MO2.
Open the Modify executables dropdown.
Look for the installed mods folder in the appdata section and look for the bat file.
Set as executable.
Is that it?
And if I already did that do I need to copy another set of the pas files into the SSE Edit Scripts folder? Or is that just redundunt?
I have no idea if Martimius has changed something, but both versions seem to include TES5.pas. In that case you shouldn't need to manually move any files, if you install the mod through MO2 - where files go in to isolated folder and TES5.pas can locate them.
Unless something was changed during conversion, then just installing the mod, setting the Data folder and accepting the fact that MO2 does not locate gameplay files should be enough.
The Data tab is on the right panel of MO2. Not the executable tab. The Data tab.
Locate the BAT-file from the file list. Right click it to add it as executable (like you would do with BodySlide or any other modlike tool installed directly through MO2.) Command prompt for the mod appears in to your Executable dropdown menu after that.
Edit: It worked!! My friend thank you so much!! Finally I'm able to run the script and actually see the mod actually replacing more than one character. Thank you.
I'm not sure about all the options when installing ELFX. Any chance you could advise me? It talks about SMIM meshes, hiding candle smoke, etc. I think it's a keeper for me. Thanks again for the help. It looks great so far, I don't know what happened to the interior fog. I am not running any mods to get rid of it and yet it's gone. Maybe ELFX cleaned it up.
