Ores and gold are plentiful, so there's probably no need for those mods.
Changing the player's race is an inherently buggy mechanic, and even the vanilla werewolf and vampire lord forms cause problems, so being able to change into a horse, skeever, sabre cat, wolf, mammoth, giant, horker, mudcrab, troll, bear, deer/elk, ice wraith, wisp/wispmother, butterfly, moth, bee, dragon, cow, dog, spider, skeleton, draugr, dragon priest, salmon, any one of the smaller fishies, spriggan, hagraven, dwemer construct, or slaughterfish would just break stuff even worse.
basically you have a armor mask which has no look but the stats of the armor, and you have the dozen of pieces you can puzzle together.
But then, those are female-only and skimpy-only. Though you can add pauldrons to full-coverage sets, which really only "works" with a handful - Daedric Pauldrons on Ebony, Dragonscale pauldrons on Blades armor, Dragonplate pauldrons on Dragonscale armor. As long as you don't look too closely.
