NetImmerse Override (NiOverride, alpha) - included with RaceMenu's skee64.dll; copy Oldrim's NiOverride.pex or use an updated version by tasairis

what? can someone please explain this to me?

This is actually old information, netimmerse is now fully included in Racemenu. If you update and get mismatching versions warning then you probably have older loose versions of some scripts. From Racemenu description page
If you get mismatching version warnings, make sure to delete the following loose files from your data folder if they exist:
CharGen.pex
NiOverride.pex
RaceMenu.pex
RaceMenuBase.pex
RaceMenuLoad.pex
RaceMenuPlugin.pex

Additionally, make sure that you installed SKSE and the SKSE base script files correctly.

^ What cfs111 said. NIOverride has been incorporated into the RaceMenu mod. Some older mods may require specific things (SKSE, Plugins, skee64.dll, skee64.ini, nioverride.pex) that can be installed as loose files in place of installing RaceMenu.

FYI, Nioverride.ini, which is what you're probably looking for, is now Skee.ini.

Hello from the future! Your reply is still saving the day for those of us only just now getting into SE/AE and wondering where the heck nioverride.ini is hiding.
