Can’t Marry Muiri

I’m trying to marry Muiri, and I’ve gotten to where I’m in the temple, about to be married, but it’s not letting me say “I do, now and forever”. I have to stop the wedding.

I have 2 houses and have saved/loaded the game 4 times and still hasn’t worked. I also heard that sometimes you have to stop the wedding and then get her back and try the wedding again for it to work, but it didn’t for me.

Help?

Update: I disabled *all* mods, and we’re married. I wonder which one caused it? 🤔

Do you have any mods that are affecting the marriage scripts?

Also are you skipping the dialogue?

Marriage is a bit twitchy in Skyrim. You can't skip any of the dialogue, and frequently if someone shows up who wants to talk to you, it'll break the script. Really annoying at times. Don't even look around or touch the mouse while the priest is talking. That has broken it for me a few times.
