Very Strong Skeletons
I just got sse and I got a bunch of emmersive mods, such as frostfall. I was exploring the woods outside whiterun when I found these skeletons sitting on logs, in a dormant state. Curious if they would come alive I went and hit them, as expected, they got up and boy were they strong. I was only level 1 but these things took some serious work to kill. I had to fight them for a good 2 minutes each with an imperial sword. They could kill me in 3 hits. I don't have any difficulty mods, I usually one hit skeletons even at fairly low levels on my other playthroughs. Are these like easter egg skeletons or something?

No, that's (at least) one of your mods.

To test it out I found some other skeletons and they died extremley easily. So it's definantly not a mod.

No, it's definitely a mod. That spawn isn't there in vanilla, and no skeletons are that tough in vanilla. You have a mod that adds it in.

Are you on legendary difficulty?

Ahhh sorry for jumping to conclusions. After double checking my mod list I see that People of Skyrim adds this kind of stuff. I guess I didn't read the description of the mod well enough.

That tends to happen. Always read what a mod does, and then be ready for undocumented changes to happen anyways heh.

My favorite thing is when people spout out the nonsense without reading or googling about their problem first.

First, it wasn't a problem, I thought it was just an easter egg. Second, I did google it, third, I admited I spoke too soon. After someone who was helpful confirmed that those skeletons didn't spawn in vanilla I then knew to check my mods list.

Thanks for your irrelivent input into a civilized discussion between a couple skyrim fans.

Fixed. Glad you found the problem. That skele issue would've made me salty.

I really didn't mind it, skyrim can get too easy at times so hitting a skele expecting to see it fall apart only to realize it's about to rock your world was pretty funny lol. That's why I'm keeping the mod

Yeah you actually handled it fine. I mean, we (the forum regulars that is) are all sick of the usual "MY GAME IS BROKEN ♥♥♥♥ BETHESDA" ♥♥♥♥ all over this forum, but you didn't do that. You wrote clearly and coherently, didn't use a bunch of RANDOM capital WORDS, no EXCESSIVE EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!!!!!!! or anything ♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that either. Then you acknowledged that it was your own user error that was the problem (just not knowing that it was one of your mods) instead of refusing to admit that you could possibly make a mistake and dying on that hill like so many others do.

I applaud you, you did good.

*Bows* Thank you. I try my best as I know the internet can be a sensitive place.
