Kill Hagraven Petra Bug

Anyone know the code for completion of the quest to kill Hagraven Petra? I've already tried to resurrect her and kill her again but that doesn't do it. Thanks

Only way I've seen this quest completed is to not release Melka at the start, go kill Petra then go back and release Melka and it just says completed, not a clue why that's the way it is.

I was unaware there was a Petra bug... never had any issues completing it in oldrim or SSE ???Are you running the unofficial patch?

Apparently if you Kill Petra before you release the other Hagraven, then the other Hagraven keeps looking for her. It was in another thread, for exactly the same problem. Although part way through everyone seems to convert to saying that waiting until you've killed Petra solves the problem (despite that being what causes it).

Only solution that I am aware of is to load an earlier save. But I always release the other Hagraven straight away, on the basis that I could do with an ally blasting the enemy for me.

Just experenced this bug. I let Melka out of the cage first and even watched Melka and Petra exchange a couple of fireballs before I jumped in and killed Petra. Now i'm staring at a dead Petra with Melka standing there doing nothing and the quest won't complete.

This appears to be a Skyrim Special Edition bug. I never encountered it with original Skyrim. I have the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch installed, so that doesn't fix this problem. I replayed this area several times and the quest never completes after killing Petra.

WORKAROUND:

In the console window (after killing Petra) enter:

setstage dunBlindCliffQST 100
